01Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of AuthSMS, available at authsms.net, including our website, user dashboard and API (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, topping up your balance or otherwise using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your country, and legally able to enter into a binding agreement. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that company.

02Description of the Service

AuthSMS provides temporary virtual phone numbers that can receive text messages (SMS), mainly one-time verification codes (OTP). The Service is operated on a prepaid basis: you add funds to your account balance and spend that balance on the products below.

• One-time activations: a virtual number is assigned to you for a single verification. You are charged only when the SMS code is actually received; otherwise the amount is returned to your balance (see the Refund Policy).
• Number rentals: a virtual number is reserved for you for the rental period you select (hours or days), during which you may receive messages.
• API access: programmatic access to the same functions with an API key, intended for integrations, software testing and quality-assurance automation.

03Accounts and Security

You need an account to use the Service. You must provide a valid email address and keep your account information accurate. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your password, login codes and API keys confidential.

• One person or company may not operate multiple accounts to abuse promotions, bonuses, free offers or the referral programme.
• Do not share, sell or transfer your account or API keys.
• We recommend enabling two-factor authentication where available.
• Notify us immediately through the contact page if you suspect unauthorised access.

04Payments and Balance

All purchases are made with prepaid account balance. You can top up your balance using the payment methods shown on the top-up page, which may include local payment services and cryptocurrency payments. Payment methods may change over time and may differ by country.

• Prices are shown on the Services page and in your dashboard before you confirm a purchase. The price shown when you confirm is the price you pay.
• Balance is a prepaid credit for use on AuthSMS only. It is not a bank account, a deposit or electronic money, it does not earn interest, and it cannot be transferred to other users.
• Top-ups are credited automatically once the payment provider confirms the payment. Cryptocurrency payments may take longer depending on network confirmations.
• Payment providers may charge their own fees or apply their own exchange rates; these are shown by the provider at checkout.
• Applicable taxes, where required by law, may be added to the price.
• We may refuse or reverse a top-up that we reasonably believe to be fraudulent, charged back or made with a stolen payment method, and suspend the related account.

05Refunds

Unused activations and cancelled or expired activations are refunded automatically to your account balance. Our Refund Policy explains in detail what is refunded, when and how, and forms part of these Terms.

06Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with the terms of the websites and apps where you use a number. You must not use the Service to:

• commit fraud, identity theft, money laundering or any other crime, or to create accounts using false or stolen identities;
• send spam, harassment, threats or unsolicited bulk messages, or to run scams or phishing;
• bypass sanctions, bans or security restrictions that a third-party platform has legitimately placed on you or others;
• verify accounts for banks, payment institutions, government services or other services where the law requires a verified personal identity or a number registered in your own name;
• interfere with, attack or overload our systems, scrape the Service at an abusive rate, or probe for vulnerabilities without our written permission;
• resell access to the Service in a way that violates these Terms or misrepresents the Service.

07Third-Party Services and Messages

Verification messages are sent by third parties (for example the websites or apps you are signing up to) and are delivered to numbers supplied by our suppliers. We have no control over these third parties. We do not guarantee that any given message will arrive, that a number has not been used before, or that a third party will accept a virtual number. A number is temporary: you may lose access to an account that was verified with it, so do not use temporary numbers for accounts that you cannot afford to lose.

The content of received messages is shown to you for the sole purpose of completing your verification.

08Availability and Changes to the Service

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features, services, countries or prices at any time, for example because of supplier changes, maintenance or legal requirements. Our system status page shows the current state of the Service.

09Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AuthSMS is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, loss of profits, loss of data or loss of third-party accounts arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid to us for the affected activation or rental, or, if higher, the unused balance in your account at the time of the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including mandatory consumer protection rights.

10Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time through the contact page or a support ticket. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service and other users. If we terminate your account without a breach on your part, your remaining unused balance will be refunded to the extent technically and legally possible.

11Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer protection law of your country of residence. Before taking formal action, please contact us first so that we can try to resolve the issue in good faith.

12Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of this page. For significant changes we will notify you by email or inside the Service. Continued use of the Service after the changes take effect means that you accept the updated Terms.
